As I was typing, I began to notice a use of Latin court syntax words being used, that most of us don't know. Although we can read the laws and know what they're talking about, most of political trickery comes from them using words that we often misinterpret because we don't know the true definitions of those words.
Well I started to compile a small glossary but realized that is expands and has already been done by professionals in the field.
So on this page will be a list of reputable sites to find the meanings of these words.
Understanding the depths and complexities of these legalities is important for us to know, in order to be able to understand what's going on around us politically:
- Like understanding the difference between adjudiction & conviction
- Knowing that if you have a knowledgeable friend who is not a lawyer, they must get permission from the court to help you on your case and they would be known as Amicus Curiae
- Knowing the difference between Alternative Sanctions & Incarceration
