Hewa: Kupuna Disrespected

We are aware that there have been problems in the past with Kelea Lavy and her sister Maija Athena causing pilikia with many people.

Recently, they have returned to the scene and have been causing HEWA among our people again.  This message is a warning to all who are reading:

Maija works for the American government and Kelea does not have her LHG citizenship.  If they claim different, ask for proof.  They have multiple profiles that they openly admit to using to spy on Kanaka Maoli, to use to tear those people down.   Due to affiliation & activity with them, Bronson hasd lost his Kupuna blessing and shield of protecion and is in imminent danger of losing every ounce of credibility with everybody.  Don't let this happen to you.

In the past, they have seriously caused problems for many of our most respected kupuna and defaced those people.  This time, they are attacking Kahala Lei Azuma Maui and trying to abolish the Kanaka Maoli March on America.

In addition to what they are trying to accomplish with Kahala Lei, they have sent the message below,  to Anakala Jack and Maria Taylor this morning.  Maria Taylor is a wonderful peron, caretaker of one of our most respected kupuna of royal lineage.  Jack is currently fighting for his life and is one of the most instrumental kupuna to our future.

Understand that this is NOT the type of behavior of a leader.  This is not a vision of unity.  This is far beyond Kolohe.  This behavior cannot be tolerated.

Some of the "Spy Profile" names they use are:  Barry Levy, Ai Pokahu, Mikki Kam, Nalani Wu and there are a several others that I do not remember the name to.  They are using these profiles to deface other people, to spy on other people's personal pages, information, etc.

Here is the saddening message that our Jack & Maria had to wake up to:

Kelea K. Levy · Friends with Jack I'au'kea and 57 othersHey Maria, honest to god, I think you and Jack are fucking retarded, but I keep that within a really small group - like between me and my sister and a few of my best friends, all of whom were already convinced by you personally to already be retarded before we ever talked about you. I donʻt want other people to think youʻre retarded - I donʻt really care about or talk about you guys to anyone else. What would be the point? Itʻs not like youʻre some evil genius on the verge of taking over the world who people need to plot against or something like that. If I think youʻre saying something stupid or misinforming people and I see it, I always say so right out in public if I have time. Yes, youʻve seen that plenty of times, right?
Everything Iʻm saying is the truth. THEREFORE, you should think about questioning that source you got all this from. Somebody is lying to you.

27 December 2012

In this past month, we have come a long way.  We encourage you to continue being as active as you are, for unity will light the way.  We are now asking that the various factions of Hawaiian National Leaders come together to solidify matters.

Kanaka, we are stronger and wiser than many of us realize.  With that being said, we are also a race of pride.  Our work ethic gives us the pride we carry and we have to learn not to allow that pride to push us apart.  How many of us are proud to belong to the awesome families we come from?  Well, sticking together like a family, is what's going to make the difference. One general rule in our hale, one of the only two rules that will get you a spanking here, is that families are supposed to unite, not fight.  With that being said, if the kids fight in the community, each case will be dealt with on it's own accord.  However if the kids stand there while their sibling is getting beat up, or if they hurt each other, a sound whipping will follow.  We don't leave our o'hana out to left field to perish.  No matter how much they don't like each other.  They have permission to not like each other all day, but once a hate crime against a sibling ensues, the punishment will begin.  In this case, they have a strong foundation and a strong sense of family.  Being on a team or having national love is kind of the same way, in the essence that no matter how much we don't like each other, we should take the moment to help one another understand.  We should not be so quick to insult each other, rather to educate each other.. even if we only post a link for that person to teach themselves   The important part is that you led the family donkey to the water.  It is up to that donkey to drink.  However, if that person should be hurt in any way, we should be right there to put them back on track.  Does this sometimes require tough love?  Yes, but you have to remember to do it in love, and not where we are running around here suppressing each other, as if we're all not already going through enough of that.

Today while surfing the forums, I saw somebody's little girl chastising an adult.  Now to hear it written this way, one would normally say that this little girl was out of pocket. Au contrar, this little girl actually made sense!  How do we compete with a child chastising an adult and making more sense than most adults in the forum?  She called it like she saw it and held not her tongue.  It was obvious that she is very mature for her age.
I took the time to visit her page to find out that she is a young poet who speaks on political issues.  The girl can't be any older than eight or so.  What an amazing head she has on her shoulders!
How does that make us feel?  Most of the time, we can all be seen in some place, debating and some of us do it very nastily.

Beyond a chastising post, this is more of a wake up call for some of us to take inventory of our actions and spoken words.  How can we expect a whole country to change and corrections to be made on a national level, if we won't correct what is within our power to correct?

We can't be perfect, so the best thing we can do is to take that look at ourselves, spend some time praying or meditating over our reflections and moving forward with working on our internal lists one thing at a time.

This concerns me because sometimes, people are vicious when they're sick. People are vicious when they're fed up with being fed up... and it seems like we have a lot of that going on.

If we were to start somewhere, as a community,  what would be the most beneficial solution that we could do?  This is our country, our aina, our iwi, our kuleana, our kupuna & keiki, our o'hana, this is you and I.  This is our lives.  It's about time that we take control and make sure that we do it in a manner in which we will receive blessings.  Karma - the only way to get blessings is to be a blessing.  From what I hear, programs could be opening up soon, so we will need to hear from you, what would help you the most.

Please go on to have a safe & Happy New Year.  Remember that resolutions don't have to wait until New Year's Day to happen.  You can decide that you want better for you on any given day.  But here's the key:  You have to do it. You don't owe it to anyone else but yourself, to have a happy life.  Happiness is not getting everything handed to you, happiness is a choice you make.
Do you like where you are in life?  That's for you to know, but it doesn't mean that you can't appreciate what you do have.

!!!Happy New Year 2013!!!
Aloha Always,

Team Freedom

Indigenous People's March on America

Simultaneous to the
Kanaka Maoli March on America
This march represents the
battles and voices
of all Natives alike.
From one corner of Mother Earth
to the other, Indigenous Peoples are
all fighting a similar battle against
the destruction of our lands,
crimes against humanities,
the voice of that young lady Neyda -
who was brutally murdered by law enforcement
while having a peaceful protest,
the voices of countless human rights
activists, who were not acting when
they demanded justice
and were killed.
We are the voices of the
Native American and Kanaka Maoli
who have been suffering at the hands of
corporate greed and industrialization
for over 400 years.
The voices of millions of Africans
that were slaughtered en route to their
horror filled destinies
of slavery and inequality,
and of all of those who sacrificed
their families and lives to
fight this battle.
The voices of the likes of Chief Spencer
who has spent her Holidays on a hunger strike
in order to make them listen to our
voices, when we say we want clean water.

On the 2nd of September 2013
we are calling you and yours out
to Washington DC
to march in solidarity
for we are
"Idle No More"
and we mean business
when we say for them to
end the acts of war.

Healthy Minerals that the FDA Hides from us

According to the FDA, they cannot recommend minerals nor will they look into which ones are best for us.  There are a few reasons why:

  • The FDA Food Czar is the former attorney and VP of Monsanto
  • Most of the FDA employees are former employees of Monsanto and are still quite active with the said company
  • The FDA allows and regulates what the insurances can and cannot authorize for the consumer.  Therefore, in order to keep these scientific pharmaceutical companies in full operation, the FDA must keep them in business.  To do this, doctors must prescribe x amount of the medications, in order to get whatever they want from the government, be it tax cuts or underhanded business deals.  In order to execute this plan, this is what the FDA must do:
    • only evaluate the nutritional data that the general public knows of, like certain vitamins.  After all, they need a hook, line and sinker to sell the chemically engineered foods, right?  This is how they develop the market.
    • They cannot evaluate the minerals, because that would encourage people to grow their own medicines, thus collapsing the selfish economy that was meant only for the wealthy to make it in. This does not mean that others do not have the opportunity to rise, but not all opportunities weren't created equal.
    • Whether the illness is man made or man spread, all illnesses have a "legitimized medication that is really expensive and we have decided what is good for you, because you don't know what is good for yourself.  Don't you self diagnose, that could be a number of things"  So all this time, you could have been growing a garden of all the medicines you need for your body type, and they are telling you - key words: they are telling you what is best for you. key point: how do they know you better than you know your own body? How many times have they waken up with you, as opposed to how many times you have waken up with yourself?

Now check out these alternatives and I can tell you from the personal experience of about a dozen people; myself included, that these purely natural remedies work.  If you're old enough, you remember the Book of 101 Natural Remedies that has been gone from the book shelves since around the Vietnam War Era.  This book told us things like:
  •  to take a 1/2 tsp to 1 tsp of organic cider vinegar each day to cleanse and alkaline our bodies; which means faster metabolisms and weight loss, and less or none heart burn.
  • to slice up an onion and put it in your socks while you sweat off a fever in your sleep; onions absorb germs very well
  • to wash your meat with a lemon/salt scrub before marinading it; which will kill most germs or impurities in your meat.
  • to use one cup vinegar instead of softener, in your laundry; which will decrease eczema, allergies, wrinkles and germs, and even take away the odors of cat urine and cigarette smoke!  Don't worry, when your clothes dry, the vinegar smell is gone.
  • to put a bowl of vinegar around your house; to absorb airborne odors and germs
  • to take a tsp of cinnamon each morning; which prevents cancer, diabetes and naturally lowers and regulates blood sugar levels
  • to boil ginger and lemon tea when you are getting sick
  • eat celery when you have the runs; it replaces lost electrolytes better than Gatorade and without the chemicals.
  • Ash Gourd - also known as winter melon or bitter gourd heals mouth cancer, when carbs are replaced with this vegetable it cures obesity, expels tapeworms, and relieves asthma, coughing and other respiratory ailments and when boiled in coconut oil, stops dandruff and promotes healthy shiny hair.
  • Milk Thistle has kept me off of the liver transplant list for 8 years now, and keeps me about an inch thinner, if I take 1 daily.
  • St John's Wort - also known as mugwort works wonders during the woman's cycle to regulate hormones and keep the peace.  It also works wonders in people with bipolar symptoms or manic depression.

Team Freedom Fights for Health

Protecting yourself from the harmful elements in today's environment can be quite challenging.  Since the introduction of western ways of colonisation have erupted our natural state of well being, we have been slowly turned away from traditional medicines to chemical compounds with ingredient lists that we don't understand.  What are the side effects?  One of the many concerns in our Kanaka world, is the growing number of health issues and what is considered Hawaiian food.  Personally, when I researched traditional Hawaiian food, I did not expect to find spam on the list.  Can you imagine watching a video on You Tube that showed 17th century Kanaka Maoli popping open a can of Spam and wrapping it in some caveman form of seaweed?  I guess we can go ahead and complete the picture of him making some deluxe meal from it over camp fire, as well!

Anyway, this blog is brought to you by Team Freedom and I guess that fighting for our freedom from the medical problems that are persistent amongst our people would also be a form of freedom fighting, now wouldn't it?

Much of the information posted in here is also available on the web, if you'll just google the name of the food and type in health benefits or side affects, you can usually find the info rather quickly.

(NaturalNews) Right on time; flu season is once again upon us, and no doubt you're already getting bombarded with calls to get your "flu shot" so you can be "protected" from this year's strain of influenza.

Well, you can do that if you choose, or you can take a more proactive approach to warding off the bugs and viruses this year by employing probiotics to help defend you.

What are probiotics? Simply put, it is the good bacteria that resides in your gut and battles infection caused by viruses, yeast, fungi and parasites. And it, like bad bacteria, is killed off with antibiotics, often leaving you more vulnerable for the next bug that comes along.

The issue is this: Antibiotics are over-prescribed these days. One of the most recent studies, from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, found that doctors frequently misuse antibiotics when treating patients who have been hospitalized for respiratory tract infections. The study, published in the journal Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology, found that doctors at a pair of Pennsylvania hospitals were using antibiotics to treat patients with viral infections, which don't respond to such medications.

By comparison, according to a separate study in China, children aged three to five years old that were treated with two types of probiotics had a 63 percent lower rate of fever, a 54 percent reduction in cough, and a 44 percent decline in runny nose. Also, antibiotic use was reduced by a whopping 80 percent in children on the probiotics who had symptoms for about half the time of those on a placebo - 3.4 days compared to 6.5 days with the latter group.

The results led authors to conclude that consuming probiotics on a daily basis significantly reduced the incidence and length of respiratory infection symptoms in young children.

Probiotics are found in supplements and food (and not just yogurt, although that's a good place to start).

Here are five ways probiotics can help protect you and yours this flu season:

-- Digestive health. We have more than 1,000 different types of bacteria that live in our digestive tracts. In fact, bacteria in our bodies outnumber human cells ten to one. Yet when we take an antibiotic, they kill the healthy intestinal flora that helps us digest, in addition to the sickness-causing bacteria. "As a result, doctors commonly prescribe taking probiotics to 'repopulate' the digestive tract with healthful bacteria," the Huffington Post reported. But probiotics can also help with other digestive issues, such as irritable bowel syndrome

-- Urinary tract health. According to research, probiotics - especially lactobacilli - have been successful in treating recurrent urinary tract infections (UTI) in women. "...[I]f you could replace the Lactobacillus in women with recurrent urinary tract infections, you might normalize the vagina and prevent infections," says researcher Dr. Thomas M. Hooton, a professor of clinical medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. "So there is as push to develop non-antibiotic methods to prevent and treat infections."

-- Keep those allergies at bay. Hay fever? Cats? Dust? Mold? Research suggests that probiotics could help prevent or reduce the severity of allergies. A team of Finnish researchers at the University of Helsinki found that "exposing pregnant mothers and infants to probiotic bacteria could help stimulate the growth of the immune system and potentially play a role in preventing allergies," ABC Newsreported in 2008.

-- Improving women's health. Probiotics have found L. acidophilius may help reduce the incidence and severity of bacterial vaginosis and yeast infections, when taken as a vaginal suppository (rather than consumed in foods).

-- Improve your immune response. One of the main functions of healthful bacteria is to stimulate your immune response. "By eating probiotic-rich foods and maintaining good intestinal flora, a person can also help to maintain a healthy immune system," HuffPo reported, citing small-study research.

Probiotics can also help you maintain a healthier weight.

Makawalu: Palapala Ea

I present to you here, the efforts of
Makawalu

Makawalu is a community organization, founded by a group of Kānaka Maoli student-freedom-fighters for the purpose of a united effort in protecting ‘Āina, the culture of their great Nation, and the restoration of Hawaiian Independence. The hui has been incredibly active in issues concerning iwi kūpuna (ancestral bones), mālama ‘āina (environmental conservation), and ea (independence).

If you're no stranger to Hawai‘i, then you may have had a Makawalu sighting, as the group protested the desecration of iwi kūpuna by Kawaiaha‘o Church and C&C Farmlands company in Kūnia... called out biotech companies for their bioengineered poisons (GMOs)... and challenged political corruption over that HEWA Rail. And that's just getting started...

The Palapala Ea is Makawalu's next big project in their Aloha ‘Āina campaign to fight for Hawaiian Independence!

Get to know Makawalu by visiting their website at www.hawaii-imiloa.com
Kanaka Maoli Declaration

Both the Online Petition and Mail-in/Physical declaration are for the same purpose -- your declaration in support of an independent Hawai‘i. The only difference is, mail-in/physical declarations will receive an Aloha ‘Āina certificate. Mahalo!

Kanaka Maoli Declaration

We, the undersigned, Kānaka Maoli, children of ‘Āina, sons and daughters from the sunrise to the sunset, Hawai‘i to Ni‘ihau, descendants of those who cared for these sacred places since time immemorial, as we do now, until time eternal, do proudly declare our support for an Independent Hawai‘i, free from the occupation of the United States of America, and whose government shall be decided upon collectively by Kānaka Maoli and Hawaiian Nationals.

In our declaration we stand, immovable, in our assertion that an Independent Hawai‘i shall be pono, whereby those values embodied by the Hawaiian Nation shall include Aloha ‘Āina, Mālama ‘Āina, the protection and care of iwi kūpuna, the preservation, protection and proliferation of Kanaka Maoli culture, language and rights, free and accessible education, free and accessible medical support, the capacity to endure for both humans and the natural world (sustainability), and the perpetuity of life.

We, the undersigned, Kānaka Maoli, do triumphantly affirm that in restoring our independence we shall undoubtedly become the most healthiest, happiest, and brilliant Nation on Earth. We stand, and will continue to stand, as Aloha ‘Āina! Eia kākou ʻo nā Kanaka Maoli, nā kama, nā kamahine, nā kupa hoʻi o ka ʻĀina, mai ka hikina a i komohana, mai Hawaiʻinui o Keawe a i Niʻihau o Kahelelani. A Call to Kanaka: Voices of Unity

During our road toward freedom, we will utilize many different avenues to get our points across, and the combination is what will ultimately seal the fate.  We have a number of different ways to accomplish this goal, and there are enough options out there that we can use, to accommodate our personal feelings on that particular topic.

The important thing to remember, is to remain pono with one another for we are all o'hana.  Unity doesn't have to mean that we have to be buddy buddy with a person we do not like.  Unity is when two or more people agree on a topic and compromise on a goal to achieve success.  Before, on personal time or after, it is fine to recognize separation with this person.  However during the road to success, thou shalt walk alongside each other to achieve the common goal.  Keep in mind that many hands make work light.

While many of us would love to put our thing down in court, Keanu Sai had the right gifts at the right time and did the right thing to make that happen.  Does that belittle anyone else?  It shouldn't.  We should feel like,  "Whoa! At least that weight is off my shoulder!"  We should then do what it takes to support his efforts and Imua, Kanaka!

We have to back it up with the voice of the people, for as the Queen said,  "The voice of the People, is the voice of God."

Studies show that petitions get more attention and quicker response times then any other method, because they create a call for immediate action on a paper trail.  Court takes a long time and although the overall decision could be much more impactful, many do not possess the legal expertise to endure this process successfully, with so many odds against them.  With petitions, there formulates an automatic legal paper trail that could be devastating to the corporate investors who are responsible for this mess.  International lawyers can get involved more easily, to get publicity for their company - and good publicity would mean that they would have to win.  This is why we have chosen to have so many petitions going back to back.

We intend to keep their offices so busy with this, that it therefore becomes a liability for them to continue, thus making it not truly worth their time.  Think of how busy they're keeping us right now. Well, there is nothing wrong with petitions.  There is nothing harmful about the people speaking for themselves.  This is considered a form of voting, because we have already presented a consensus of people who agree on the said petitioned topic, which means that some politician who was otherwise deterred from addressing this issue, can step forward to strengthen our representation.

While occasional rallies are beneficial to getting our point across, they provide evidence without the consensual paperwork to get our voices heard, and a majority of people cannot attend because they are slaves to the foreign grind.  They are however a must to have, as said above - they present evidence and a visual to accompany the petition.  Also, when one attends the rallies, one gets a stronger sense or feeling of unity, in its raw essence.  Rallies are essential, yet we need to create evidence in all that we do, without burning ourselves out in action.
It is also easier for people to sign petitions and be heard, if they are homebound and cannot get out to take further action.

As always, mahalo nui loa for coming here to get your fill on Team Freedom and the movement to free the Hawaiian Kingdom from the constraints that continue to plague the entire existence of Hawaii Nei, threatening every form of Maoli Life.

Let us unite on these petitions and support by posting them out there.  Let us unite by supporting the local events in your communities, and taking the time to teach your young ones, of our culture, traditional value system, and how to care for the aina.
Let us remember to pick up the litter upon the road, rather than litter upon the road. Let us swap garden harvests with each other, to help each other get by financially free from alien taxation upon what Akua has given us for free.

Malama Pono

2012 Resolution of the Hawaiian Kingdom

What if we came together to form a resolution?  What if we all compiled our thoughts and had one drawn?  Do you think that we should try to exhaust every avenue and take every step, or do you think it is helpless and that we should give up and eventually cease to exist, as only another extinct race that was not strong enough to make it.  Do we want that?

Ok, enough rambling questions. Here is a basis, or the beginning of what our resolution currently looks like.  Now for the time being, you votes on every topic can be cast via email.  As the process becomes more sophisticated, an actual voting process will begin.  This process does not include people or a certain government.  It will only concern the voice of our Kanaka Maoli and the voice will only deal with our concerns. Did you follow that?

Basically, what was just stated above, was that we are only dealing with issues and solutions thereof.  That is the only way that any acting government agency will effectively operate anyway, so no matter how we choose to divide the government issues, we can do so at a later date, with educated knowledge.

Remember that knowledge is the key to power and success.  We must keep in mind that in any given process, only factual information is needed.  We know if something is not right, but we need to be able to separate our documented voice to say it loud and clearly.

Any and all feedback is welcome, so please remember to keep your factual emails separate from your opinionated emails, so that we can also keep it separated.  There will come a time for fact, and there will come a time for opinion.  Both are equally important.

2012 Resolution of the Hawaiian Kingdom:
To Fully Restore Inherent Rights to Heirs & Citizenship
 of the Hawaiian Kingdom.

Whereas, the Hawaiian Kingdom was unlawfully overthrown in 1893 and its citizens denied their citizenship rights, and

Whereas, the descendants of these lawful citizens who have the same citizenship rights, have been denied these rights while under subjugation by foreign power against their own will either by force or by coercive means, and

Whereas, these unlawful acts have been carried out by the United States government and the unlawful interim governments of Hawaii, and

Whereas, no Hawaiian citizen or heir to the Hawaiian Kingdom can be held accountable for these unlawful acts unless they can be shown to be directly responsible for these acts through an act of treason, and

Whereas, the international community recognizes and heavily emphasizes in human rights instruments the importance that all human beings have the right to their nationality and citizenship, and

Whereas, a process was reinstated in order to correct the wrongs of the past and to restore full citizenship rights to the heirs of the Hawaiian Kingdom, and

Whereas, these rights include other important internationally recognized human rights such as the right to vote, the right to be represented in government, the right to have equal protection under the law, and the right to hold office, and

Recognizing that all Hawaiian people whose ancestors were citizens of the Hawaiian Kingdom are heir to the Hawaiian Kingdom and have inherited, and therefore, inherent full citizenship rights by birth, and

Whereas, any process that would obstruct the rightful heirs of the Hawaiian Kingdom from exercising these rights is unlawful under international law and only serves to prolong the injustice experienced by the rightful heirs of the Hawaiian Kingdom, and

Whereas, there is international precedence for immediate and automatic restoration of citizenship rights upon the reinstatement of a government after a prolonged occupation and forced dissolution of government, namely the processes undertaken by the nation of Estonia which automatically restoredcitizenship rights to the heirs of that nation even when they were born in foreign lands and made subject in those lands to foreign powers,

Therefore, it shall be resolved, that all rightful heirs of the Hawaiian Kingdom are today immediately and automatically restored their full citizenship rights under the Lawful Hawaiian Government to the full degree to which the government has the power to restore these rights, and

It shall be resolved, that no steps or measures shall be taken which inhibit the exercise of these full rights, which iniclude, but are not limited to, the right to vote, the right to be represented in government, the right to have equal protection under the law, and the right to hold office, and

It shall be resolved, that the government shall in good faith, in restoring these rights, make every effort to minimize its requirements of proof that a person is a rightful heir to the Hawaiian Kingdom, requiring no more than birth certificates certifying their aboriginal Hawaiian heritage or docemnts which prove they are direct descendants of a person who was lawfully naturalized under the Hawaiian Kingdom, and

27 November 2012

Back when they first came to our islands, we had no clue what was in store for us.  How were we to know  all that we know now?  Only hind sight is 20/20 and although we are sure there were people who saw right through the façade that the coloniser had painted before us.  We didn't understand their method of life.  We didn't understand what they were saying, and we believe that they probably didn't even see how far down the road this was going to take us.  Like many other people in other native lands,  we made the mistake of trusting these seemingly nice people.  Maybe that one guy was a nice one, but the rest weren't so nice.  Their intentions didn't start as an effort of genocide, they just wanted to own a piece of paradise.  Others had even further bad intentions.  In the end, it only makes sense to commit genocide of a race, especially since we have already gone from what some say could have easily be a million people, to 40,000 and it happened almost overnight.  Many of our Ali'i were forced to leave the islands and go underground for their safety.  Those Ali'i scattered throughout the earth and multiplied with mixed blood, from exile.  How do they, after the first generation, claim what's rightfully theirs?  What about the people there who felt they had to blend in to avoid further complication?  What about those who just fell in love with someone else... Does that make their children of lesser value to the family?  No, it doesn't. Kanaka Maoli are Kanaka Maoli, as long as they are Kanaka Maoli.

Team Freedom would like to thank you for all of your continued support as we fight for the freedom of our sovereign nation alongside others in this battle for Indigenous Justice. We want to keep you posted on all that is going on and help you understand what that means to you.  All of this information will help you determine which journey is the best one for you and your family to choose from.  Comments here should be always left on for your feedback.  We should hope to hear some kukakuka, as we all need to understand our common grounds and how we can use the theory that many hands makes work light and utilize that model to make our impact with this.  We all hope to be free from the bondage that oppresses us, faster than we can afford to keep up, which is thus killing us from within.  It eventually takes your soul, consuming all that you have, just as an addiction could tear your family apart, but you also realize that if you didn't pound the pavement of the asphalt jungle everyday like you do, then your family would not be able to do the things that they are supposed to do to have a good time or to live freely.  Poverty affects the whole family.  Young children grow into bitter and numb young adults, full of anger at a system built against them. Not knowing how to react, they find themselves tangled with the law, thus increasing the bitterness.  This breeds a whole new layer of problems for our communities.
We must unite at all costs and put things back into their proper perspective and do so soon.  Did you know that they plan to closed all of our funding by 2015, saying that we are already so washed out that there is no one left who can claim homelands or any funding thereof?  They have scattered us to thin us out, put up a quantum requirement and shut us out of our lands and trusts.  They want to deplete our trusts for national debt, thus leaving us with nothing, telling us that we had plenty of time to assimilate into their culture.  They are cutting our resources from us on a daily basis and pretty soon, we will have nothing left of us, who we are, no connection, to live on a land that has been stripped of all of her glory.

Blessing to Begin

On This Road

Team Freedom would like to begin this ink with a prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father
It is through You and only You that we are able to come here today and relax enough to read a scribe or two.  This must mean that our immediate needs are being met.  Lord our God, thank You for the blessings that we receive, the breath of life that only You can give, for us to make it right in Your Divine Will, in keeping our eyes looking to You, Jah.  Our Heavenly Creator, let us remember how many times You have opened the door to get us out of a jam, or for the luxuries that You see that we get to pay ourselves for our labor.  Yahweh, please watch over us as we learn to come closer to You in this journey and that we realize and recognize out true authority is You and who is through You, O Dios de mio. We recognize Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, through He who connects us to You, Akua.  Jehovah wash away our sins from yesterday and let us come to You with feet that are clean and ask You to protect us with the Blood of the Lamb, from all evil.  Take those away from us who mean us harm and surround us with experiences that are wholesome and building.  Show us the way to our freedom to retain our status as the rightful stewards of Your Lands, O Io.  Allow us to become a whole nation againn, and to be an ally to other nations alike, to form an alliance in Your Holy Name.  Come redeem Your Sons and Daughters of Judah, shall we give our praise and honor to You.  In Jesus Name We Pray, Amene.
