HB 1912: Losing Rights to Space Exploration

RELATING TO THE PACIFIC INTERNATIONAL SPACE CENTER FOR EXPLORATION SYSTEMS.
Establishes the Pacific international space center for exploration systems within the department of business, economic development, and tourism for administrative purposes.
Amends the composition of the board of directors of the Pacific international space center for exploration systems.
Creates an unspecified amount of exempt positions within the Pacific international space center for exploration systems.
Transfers the rights, powers, functions, and duties of the employees of the Pacific international space center for exploration systems to the department of business, economic development, and tourism.
Redefining Domestic Abuse
HB 2425: Redefining Domestic Abuse
Amends the definition of "domestic abuse" under Hawaii's insurance laws and laws relating to domestic abuse protective orders to include coercive control between family or household members. Defines "coercive control".

RELATING TO INDUSTRIAL HEMP DERIVED PRODUCTS.
Establishes a regulatory framework for products containing CBD that were manufactured legally through approved government programs. Clarifies that these products are not considered adulterated food, beverage, or cosmetic products. Prohibits manufacturers from making health related claims. Requires product labeling for the products to be legally allowed in the State.
